    Hello, I've come to pick up a prescription". Reaction? A blank stare, no questions asked, no information given ... Eventually, I was told that I should have given them my name ... that was the customer service that I received when I picked up a prescription this morning. As someone who is always polite and who always smiles I found all this most disconcerting. What does it take to make life easier? A conversation and a bit of politeness ... especially, I would have thought, when dealing with people who are ill. Judging from the reactions, as well as comments, of others who were waiting this wasn't an unusual occurrence. I don't know if that is just from one person in particular or from the pharmacy in general but there is no need for it. Hopefully it won't happen again when I next pick up a prescription ... we shall see.

    I called for advice to keep others safe, the pharmacist spoke very quickly, gave their opinion and said goodbye without even waiting for a response. Terrible manner with patient which has put me off going to see them. Very unhelpful and certainly unsympathetic, I thought they were meant to help support the GPs but this definitely did not. Would not use them for advise again.

    Shockingly long wait of at least 30 mins every time, even when I'm the only one waiting and requested the prescription many days in advance. Drugs are very frequently out of stock with no advice on what to do from staff. Staff attitude (not all) is seriously shocking. I'm treated as if I'm inconveniencing them when they don't have the script ready or the drugs in stock rather than with understanding and explanation. I had blatant eye-rolling from a member of staff today, who smirked with her colleagues. They are supposed to be providing a service to me, the paying customer. I work in the NHS so this type of attitude is all the more embarrassing.

  4. Review titled The worst pharmacy I have ever been to

    This used to be a good pharmacy until all the long serving staff decided to leave. Now you have to wait nearly an hour for a prescription, they are often out of stock of items so you have to come back and wait another hour. Because of this I have changed to another pharmacy where the service is much better.
