The place was very busy but very well managed. If you order your medicines a week early then this is ample for them to dispense and order the meds and for them to be ready when you call. From what I could see, the major obstacle was annoying people who wouldn't or couldn't order their meds early like everybody else, then call in expecting them to be ready. This must ne really tough for pharmacy state. I know it's about managing expectations but during the time I was there, the man had to literally repeat himself a dozen times saying the same thingbover and over again. Educating the public must be tough. People phone in and demand their meds a d become very annoyed when they don't get the answer they want even though it's not the pharmacy's fault. Respect Pharmacy Team! Keep Going! Keep supplying the meds the nation requires when other places shut their doors or shut down altogether!

I called ahead to see if my new prescription was ready. The chap I spoke to was very flustered from the outset, telling me they were having a new computer system installed and if I went down to the pharmacy I would have a long wait. He told me my prescription came in the previous day after hours. I said I was prepared to wait as I need my new medication today. I asked if they weren’t able to do my prescription today what my options were, as I really could do with my medication. He didn’t want to answer my (very polite and reasonable) questions and said “I’ve got to go, I’ve got about 20 people in here”. I said I was only enquiring what else I could do to get my medication today if possible. He said he would put my prescription back into the ‘spine’ so that any other pharmacist could pick it up from there and “he would put a note on the system to say they won’t do anything for me in the future”. He went on a bit of a rant about the works the pharmacy were having done and how awful it was this morning - so instead of closing the doors to customers for the morning to carry out planned works, they just decided to be rude to their customers? I am flabbergasted. I said I appreciated he was busy this morning but his behaviour was disgusting as he was trying to shut me down and get me off the phone because he had more important customers to attend to, even though I am one of those customers. I was polite throughout and just looking for a solution to my situation. I have voted with my feet on this one and won’t go there again.
