I recently had my Covid 19 booster at this chemist. The pharmacist was very pleasant but the clinical conditions were not in my opinion fit for purpose . The space wasnt large enough - the pharmacist had no facilities for hand washing - i cant comment on the cleanliness. The reception area was tiny and patients had to stand and wait rather than sit . Confidentiality about clinical matters was non existent - surely the NHS could find better premises

I visited this pharmacy for my Covid vaccination on Wednesday 20th September. The whole experience was chaotic and I didn't feel safe or comfortable. The vaccination was administered in a tiny room in full view of everyone who was waiting. I wasn't given any information about the type of vaccine or given the batch number or an information sheet as with previous vaccinations. I was asked if I took blood pressure medication and as I don't was offered a blood pressure test. I was shocked that I was asked to sit on a little stool behind the till where the monitor was balanced on a pile of plastic boxes. The assistant/nurse was serving someone so another member of staff started to fill in the relenant form only to be told it wasn't the correct one when the assistant returned. She began the test on my left arm where I had only just had my Covid jab. Part way through this first test she was called away to help another assistant at the till leaving the test running. By this time I was panicking and my arm was quite painful. When the assistant returned she said my heart rate and blood pressure readings were very high and I should make an appointment with my GP. I had already told her I had my annual review booked for the next week. Everyone in the shop could hear this conversation. After almost a week the information regarding our vaccinations has not appeared on our NHS record for both me and my husband who attended at the same time. When my husband rang the pharmacy today to ask about this he was told they were very busy and hadn't had time. I don't think any of the above is acceptable This facility was not fit for purpose. I cannot imagine why the NHS or Sheffield CCG would think this was an appropriate venue.
