I was advised to go to the pharmacy by my GP a practice, due to no appointments for 72 hours. When I arrived and explained the server was a bit abrupt in manner saying we can’t do anything for sore throats, but proceeded to check a “list” and said that actually did. Waited around 10 mins to be seen. The pharmacist didn’t really explain how the service/consultation worked. Didn’t ask about symptoms, when started etc. Very little communication to assess my needs. They said they would be asking someone else but the. Just came with option if a spray for throat. No reassurance about anything, meaning a call to 111 who directed me to a different local pharmacy up the road. Here the took my temperature, checked other symptoms and showed a very caring & reassuring manner. As a result, I have now moved my repeat prescription to this other pharmacy! Not the experience or manner you’d expect! Highly disappointing service!!

Review titled The boys wonderful, the girls have such an attitude

I've been going to this pharmacy for a while and it has changed hands a few times, however the latest staff here are hit and miss. There are too young lads, who are brilliant, very attentive and really pleasant, but the two girls that work here, really poor customer service. The young girl with a ponytail, held the door for her as she was on the phone and didn't even say thanks, just barged past me, and then barges straight past me again when I was waiting for my prescription, the other girl who wears a scarf and lots of makeup, looked at me like I was inconveniencing her, luckily I was severed by the young guy who just finished with another customer, who the woman in the scarf was more interested in serving the other customer, even though I came in first. Although this is ran by a group of mainly Asian staff, if you are not Caucasian, you get treated really poorly (apart from the two guys). This place would get 5 stars if it wasnt for the girls who work here.

I went to pick up my prescription which I desperately need to even function everyday. Because it was later in the day, she obviously wanted to go home which I get but treating me like a human being would be nice rather than just looking at me like something she stood in! She didn't even say one word to me or even look at me.
