I have had a few poor experiences over the last few months with this pharmacy due to bad customer service and multiple prescriptions being unavailable and having to go on a wild goose chase to find them. Tonight though was exceptionally poor. Due to waste phone call from the doctor (7pm) and confirmation the prescription would be made available today - we raced to the pharmacy straight from work at 8:45pm to be told the prescription would be ready in 40 minutes. I explained I had children in the car and couldn’t wait and was informed by the rude and very unempathtic member of staff that it would be 40 minutes or come back tomorrow (when we are at work again). We drove home with the children and my husband then raced back to the Asda (within 10 minutes) to find the pharmacy closed. This member of staff was obviously completely fobbing me off. I questioned the closing time of the pharmacy when I was informed it would be 40 minutes and he said - we will close in 40 minutes!!! Absolutely disgraceful. People need prescriptions for a reason and there is a total disregard for this as this pharmacy. I will also be raising concerns with our local doctor about the issues encountered in the last 6 months and a recommendation that this pharmacy is no longer used.
