Called to pick up a prescription for my husband. The assistant confirmed that they had the prescription and said they would get it ready but it would be about ten minutes so to go and do some shopping and come back for it. I returned after ten minutes at 4.30pm to be told that the pharmacy was shut until 5pm and that pharmacist had said not ti give out any prescriptions until they returned. Despite the fact that they advertise opening hours of 09.00 - 20.00, I still had a thirty minute wait while they were closed so that I could collect my prescription. Shocking!

I went to the pharmacy to collect a prescription that they had received 1 week earlier. I was told it still needed to be checked by the pharmacist and it would be another 30 to 40 minutes. I pointed out they'd had the prescription for a week and it wasn't good enough. The assistant just kept repeating that they'd been hectic, no apology or help to resolve the situation by maybe asking the pharmacist to check it then. I will be changing my pharmacy as this is not the first time a prescription has not been ready. We don't all have 30 minutes to hang around waiting.
