I asked for help from the pharmacy, there was no one waiting at the time, you can check the cctv, I told the lady what I needed and she went behind the pharmacy and relayed what I had said, the pharmacist didn’t even put his or her head round and said it’s polyps go to your go firstly how rude, secondly how can they diagnose me without even seeing me and lastly why tell the public to use them if they arnt seeing people, I have always used the pharmacy first, but since this new pharmacists are great see them, announcement they don’t want to know, it was disgusting behaviour, not even coming out to speak to me, I will use my Tesco and boots one in future as Asda clearly don’t care about diagnosing behind a wall.

Review titled Rude, aggressive and unhelpful
by Anonymous - Posted on 17 June 2024
Used the NHS111 service after running out of my antidepressants over the weekend. I have incredibly bad withdrawal effects, which is why I use the service (Which I used elsewhere last year for the same reason with no issues.) Despite me obviously being quite unwell, they made me stand there waiting while they checked all through my NHS records, before reprimanding me for not being organised enough to have my repeat ready, belittling me for using the service - which is for this exact purpose for this service. Absolutely no valid reason the medication couldn't be dispensed, orher than a pharmacist on some kind of bizzare power trip. I will never use this pharmacy again.

Review titled Pharmacist rude and dismissive

I wanted to buy dulcolax and anusol. For obvious reasons I would have thought. Well the pharmacist didn’t think it was that obvious because he asked ‘what do you want them for?’ To which my response was for obvious reasons ‘wink wink’ I don’t want to explain myself whilst I speak to you through a plastic screen, your wearing a face mask and I can’t u detest and your accent. I had to raise my voice over the screen to ask for a private chat, at which point they assumed I was being aggressive. I am quiet spoken and was just trying to explain. At which point he looked me up and down and said well I’m not serving you and walked away. I asked for private space (consultation room) to discuss but he refused . I asked to be served by someone else but was refused. At this point an older lady who was serving decided to tell me it was his right to refuse. She was also not listening and refused to discuss, shouting at me while turning her back and walking away. I got annoyed and raised my voice, I also started to get triggered. I have autism and adhd. I decided to take my shopping out to the car and deescalate. Am I presenting unintentionally as aggressive due to my anxiety, ok maybe I’ll calm down. I return to the store calm and asked for the pharmacist to speak to me again. I told him I have autism and adhd and it’s difficult to communicate through the screen when you are wearing a mask. He said I’m not serving you and walked away again. He shouted call security. Security arrived and I tried my best to be logical and explain the misunderstanding. But once again I was accused of being aggressive. There is a difference between standing up for yourself and being assertive to being aggressive. There is a difference to being aggressive and having to raise your voice to shout over a screen. It’s shocking that all I was trying to do was buy some constipation medication and they had me surrounded by three security (one turned out to be the manager apparently). The police were called because the pharmacist refused to have a civil conversation. The police said there was no issue and I was not presenting as aggressive and I was sent on my way. All this is, is shocking customer service and a complete lack of regard. Asda, 89 Dunkeld Road Perth PH1 5AP
