Having done a UTI test and found it to be strongly positive and having symptoms I rung the Asda pharmacy to ask for advice and if I was able to obtain antibiotics with a consultation from them….. I got told no you have to see your GP…I am aware of the new guidelines that have been brought in so mentioned these to him but he was adamant that pharmacists don’t do that only GPs….. I decided to try Tesco pharmacy who listen to me and said to pop down to have a consultation….. This resulted in a 3 day course of antibiotics being prescribed!!! Asda I’m sorry but your pharmacist really couldn’t be bothered to help me at all….extremely poor and incorrect information and service given!

Contacted 111 for an emergency pharmacist prescription for a one year old as inhaler had run low, 111 directed me to this pharmacy to pick up. The pharmacist was completely condescending, rude and completely unreasonable upon speaking to them. My child is under Addenbrooks for her respiratory issues and Pharmacist refused to view her NHS records even when supplying proof of it all on the NHS app still refused to administer the inhaler, told me to go back to 111 (7.20pm) and get an actual prescription knowing she requires a dose first thing in the morning. Complete ignorance to asthma needs and then refused to provide me with his name; if doing nothing wrong here why would you deny your details. It’s not the first time I’ve had poor information and poor treatment from this pharmacy. Needs a staff restructure evidently.
