    Because of various issues I cannot get out to the pharmacy and I have no one else who can collect prescriptions. So far, in the last four years, my prescriptions have been delivered after I have run out (the last prescription being the exception). I ordered the current repeat prescription early to avoid any delays and when I phoned last Tuesday I was told the doctor had not forwarded the prescription. The doctor surgery checked and told me that your pharmacy had received the prescription on 28th November. Talking to a different person at your pharmacy I was told that this was correct and I was put on to a pharmacist. I explained my situation and that my blood pressure meds (2) and my diabetes meds ran out that day (Thursday 5th). I was told that either I had to come and get the prescription (I again explained why I was unable to) or wait until Tuesday (10th). That was the end of the conversation and I had to wait without the meds. Tuesday has passed and I again telephoned and was told the same thing and there appeared no concern that I had been five days without my meds and was told to "Phone back Thursday morning to see whether they are going out" I find the fact that the prescription was with you on 28th November and have still not been delivered bad enough but the attitude (and I did not misunderstand what was being said as it was quite clear) that I can go without medications until it is convenient for the pharmacy to deliver is going too far.

    I visited bedminster pharmacy to collect a prescription. I was asked when I had put in the request [4 working days previous] I was then told that you normaly ask for 5 working days. I explained that the item was urgent as you did not have my regular medication and I had had to re order so the total waiting time was nearly two weeks and I had run out . The assistant just repeated that you normally ask for 5 waiting days and stared at me in a hostile manner. I then said was she not willing to check for me but she just blanked me and refused to answer. Rather than have a row I left. I have now moved unsurprisinly to another pharmacist. I tried to e mail the pharmacy direct but surprise surprise the email address on their web site is invalid.
