Review titled terrible customer service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by daryl haskins - Posted on 07 August 2024
wow, customer service has died. terrible service from your staff. i came to the store today to collect a prescription, during the process the staff memebr asked me my name as she could not read the dentists handwriting. i explained it Da, 1 r, 1y, 1l, she then said is my birhtdate 1951, i replied no 1971, i would be very old if it was 51, she replied i am only reading the notes on the document, i replied i am only making a joke, calm down... the staff memebr then decided to stop serving me and pass it to another pharmacist? i paid for my prescription and then went to leave the store, as i passed the staff member i politely said, have a nice day my dear. the staff memebr response was rude and not appropriate for the role she works in. in front of a member of public, i turned around and said are you not going to respond to my polite comment, she basically said i am not going to say anything to you. the staff member needs to cheer up!!! i will be taking my services elsewhere from now on, 25yrs using your store to be rudely blanked by a member of your staff.

Dear Mr Haskins We do not tolerate rudeness or abuse towards our members of staff, even if it's framed as a 'joke' as per your review. We have the entire interaction recorded on our CCTV cameras, and I have spoken to three witnesses of the event. I am the owner of the business, and one of the pharmacists. At Bliss Chemist we pride ourselves on our professional and caring approach, and we go out of our way to help our patients. However our policy is to choose not to serve patients who are rude to us, and to my colleague's credit she did not ask you to leave the store, instead she passed on your prescription to the pharmacist so that we did not leave you empty handed. We welcome and agree with your decision to go elsewhere. Please do not come back to our store again. We wish you all the best in the future.
