  1. Review titled Terrible Service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Booked an appointment for my 93 year old mother to have her flu jab. On the day, drove 35 miles to collect my mother, helped her into and out of the car and the pharmacy (which is quite an ordeal for her). We were welcomed and helped by a lovely assistant and told to take a seat. 5 mins later we were told by a different member of staff that they had run out of vaccines and it couldn't be done. This member of staff told me she had tried to ring me 5 hours previously but it didn't connect. When questioned as to why she did not try again, she told me that she had been too busy. The result is a very distressed mother who could not understand what was going on and an 80 mile round trip for me (as I am not local) 'Sorry' doesn't really help when it could so easily have been avoided

  2. Review titled Appalling service

Prescription sent by Doctor yesterday on the 02/01/2024, visited the pharmacy just before lunch, prescription not made up, ridiculously long wait. I have used this pharmacy for the last eight years but I will not use them again or recommending them.

  3. Review titled Outstanding service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I went to the pharmacy concerned about an insect bite, which had rapidly worsened in the previous hours, having already had one dismissive response from a different pharmacy and after struggling to speak to my GP directly. The assistants spoke to me quickly, despite clearly being busy, and were friendly and reassuring as they immediately prescribed me antibiotics. The fact that my GP's practice was in Stafford and they needed to take details to arrange the prescription wasn't an issue for them. Subsequently, I received a courtesy call following the end of the prescription length to check up on me and then status of the infection, which was outstanding service in the current strain of the NHS climate. I would thoroughly recommend!
