  1. Review titled Inadequate pharmacist

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I visited Boots pharmacy in Alton as I needed to buy Migraleve tablets. Behind the counter was a blind saying 'closed', so I went to a pharmacy down the road. That was closed for lunch, I presume, so returned to Boots. There was a lady being served, two young men, then, behind me, another lady. The pharmacist finished with the first lady and disappeared into the back room. He stayed in there for a long time. When he finally emerged, he hovered around. I asked him if there was anyone to serve. He said yes. He turned round and very slowly and laboriously opened up the blinds to reveal the medications. Then he decided to serve. If I hadn't been buying Migraleve for my husband, I would have given up and gone home. There were no signs to suggest that it was lunchtime perhaps, and I was pretty furious with the service. Also, when finally serving me, the pharmacist didn't ask the relevant questions related to Migraleve. Frankly the service was rubbish. It's usually fine, but not this time. Jo Clutton
