   Pharmacist advised that my prescription wasn't valid, specifically that the dose for a particular medicine wasn't possible to prescribe and that I would need to visit my consultant to get another script. Having looked on the BNF website I located multiple medicines that were suitable (by halving the tablet to make the correct dose). Went to another pharmacist who had no problems in dispensing. I had already begun the process of contacting my consultant to request a new script before realising this mistake, so this (what seems to me as rather basic) error has been both inconvenient and slightly disconcerting.
