Rude staff, incredibly dismissive and uncommunicative. I required a blood pressure check before starting a new medication as it has a risk of heart attack and stroke, and despite the receptionists next door at the sugery, the nurse prescriber in the consultant team advising and the nhs webpages stating, that the pharmacy can provide a blood pressure check, the pharmacists spent longer writing an email than it would have taken to check my blood pressure. Absolutely no customer service, and no consideration for the vulnerability of the patient. After thirty minutes of pushing me between staff, I still had not had my blood pressure checked, yet the pharmacist was absolutely happy to issue the medication to me and indifferent to the potential risks this carried. I am shocked that they even issues the prescription without doing the blood pressure check first as requested given that an adverse reaction could be life threatening. The GP surgery were much better, the receptionist found me an appointment within the hour and the nurse was compassionate and competent. I will be changing my pharmacy as a result of this.

I used the 'Pharmacy First' service when I had been ill on holiday and returned with severe sore throat, the pharmacy is open until 7pm. I went straight from the airport. Saw the pharmacist with 5mins and in 20 mins was back home with antibiotics for tonsillitis. The pharmacist was very thorough, very helpful and I couldn't have asked for a better service.

I collect prescriptions for multiple people from this pharmacy. They're often busy but always friendly and willing to help with any issues that come up. Recent national medication supply shortages have caused some problems, which they have efficiently resolved, either by recommending a change which they have then requested or by part-supply. Very helpful.
