Swapped from another service that kept being short but this is worse and actually wastes my time - incomplete pickups, no confirmation when ready and difficulty getting through on phone, slow service or staff standing at tills and not actually serving anyone but chatting with those who have customers so it takes ages, always being told to join a queue that doesn’t have a sign so you constantly scan for those who just walk up and get served. Will be going elsewhere.

Turned up to collect 3 pre ordered prescriptions on Good Friday at 10:00. Told by member of staff that the pharmacist was not yet on premises therefore the large queue of customers would have to wait until he/she arrived. Were also told we were most welcome to wait in the queue but nothing, even made up prescriptions could not be issued. 10 mins later another member of staff apologised and said unfortunately the dispensing pharmacist had just phoned in to cancel his shift therefore they would not be able to dispense any medication or prescriptions today. Customers who had been queuing start to become very angry and expressive with the staff as they had visited especially for their necessary medicine, were elderly and distressed/confused and other customers were told they would have to come back the next day for their tablets as they had already been made up and could not be redispensed to another pharmacy. Lots of anger, confusion, misinformation, How can a pharmacist cancel his shift after he should have been on site, how can a company like Boots, a nationwide store and in a busy city location be viewed as offering a first class service? This could also lead up to a life threatening situation. Boots customer service need to look into the circumstances.

Called 18 times in a two hour period for a serious issue with a prescription and not one of these calls was picked up or answered.

Very slow service ever time I’ve visited. Have to wait approximately 30 minutes to be seen then a similar time to have the medication dispensed. Lots of people waiting around both in the queue and for their medication. With only 3 chairs and a pregnant wife waiting with me, this was not ideal. This has been the same experience every time I have been and will always try and avoid this pharmacy if I can.
