I constantly spend my lunch breaks queuing for prescriptions. The service is slow and you are made to feel that you are a nuisance. My daughter received a text message on 6th December and another on 9th December telling her that her prescriptions were ready for collection. Having queued for over 45 minutes I am told that only one has been processed as the other item was only requested yesterday. This is not true as they were both on the same prescription which was processed on 5th December by the surgery. I now have to come back again later today to collect. This is not an isolated incident and if you look at all the negative reviews they all relate to the pharmacy and the poor service. The person who served me today basically called me a liar and when I said that I could not wait any longer as I had exceeded my lunch break the response can only be described as inflammatory. Please do something about this service - there are a number of elderly people queuing for their meds and having to come out in the could weather only to be told they need to come back again another day. People dont take medication out of choice and there needs to be greater empathy and understanding from the pharmacy with regards to way that customers are treated
