  3. Review titled No Answer!

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I’ve tried contacting this pharmacy by phone multiple times over the years, and it’s never been easy to get through, however, the last month whilst trying to organise ordering of my sons specialist formula has been a nightmare, have phoned multiple days and times and have not once gotten an answer. Travelling to the store to speak in person has not been much easier, and I don’t always have the capacity to visit the store just to order something, which I should be able to do over the phone.

  4. Review titled Flu vaccine - utter shambles

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Graham Sewell - Posted on 29 October 2022

Booked flu vaccine on 28/10 for available slot at Boots on 29/10 - online site asked my age group and my date birth - both entered correctly. I also completed online patient information form, which also contained my age. Arrived 5 mins early for my appointment but was told by an officious lady to join the back of a huge que of people waiting to collect prescriptions. It took 20 minutes to reach the counter, at which point I was asked to wait to see the pharmacist. After a further 10 minutes I was seen by the pharmacist only to be tld they were out of the vaccine for my age group. When I asked why the system allowed me to book a slot when they had no vaccine for my age group, she had no answer. A 30 mile round trip and nearly 2 hours wasted. As a Professor of Pharmacy myself, it pains me to say this store appeared utterly chaotic. Best avoided. I will go back to Lloyds - a couple of miles further but generally decent service
