    Staff who answer phone are very abrupt, got cut off during phone call and when rang back staff who answered phone seemed very rude and seems as she wasn’t interested.

    Issue with not receiving medication. I was just trying to find out whether it was a stock issue like last month, or something else. Young gentleman on the telephone very rude, unhelpfully wouldn't even give me his name, not good customer service.

    This Pharmacy has gone massively downhill since its new ownership. They keep using stock issues as an excuse but don’t tell customers and then recommend you contact the surgery and go to another Pharmacy. You have to constantly chase them, they have no care for customers. The staff attitude stinks, if you are unhappy with them for any reason they just put the phone down on you. Absolutely disgraceful service and something needs to be done by the NHS

    Dear Patient, We are extremely disappointed to hear that your experience with us has not met your expectations. Unfortunately there are a small number of lines suffering from stock shortages. This is at manufacturer and wholesale level. Therefore we have processes in place to try and advise our patients on how best to obtain a suitable alternative or try other pharmacies. Patients who collect their medication are informed on pick up and our delivery patients have notes attached to their bags explaining the next steps they need to do to gain appropriate treatment. I assure you that all of our staff are trained to deal with complaints over the phone. Termination of a phone call will never be on purpose unless the staff feel they are receiving abuse on the call and have informed the customer several times of our zero tolerance abuse policy. Again I apologise if you feel the level of service has not been met but I can assure you we do not purposely withhold medication from our patients and if we cannot obtain medication it is not through a lack of trying.     My prescription was sent over to the pharmacy from the GP surgery, but my medication wasn't available. Instead of contacting my GP surgery to have an alternative form prescribed, they did nothing and I ran out of a medication which must not be stopped abruptly. When I asked to speak to the pharmacist I was met with a sneer and eye rolling. The pharmacist didn't care less about my predicament and I was very anxious and upset about not being able to obtain my medication. My GP practice employs its own pharmacist, so it would have been perfectly easy for the pharmacy to have contacted them and asked for a different form of the medication to be prescribed. Very poor service, and I go to another pharmacy now where I am treated with kindness and respect.

    Dear Patient, We are extremely disappointed to hear that our service has not met your expectations. Unfortunately, as a team we are dealing with huge increases in workload along with an exhaustive list of medicines that are either unavailable or extremely difficult to source. Therefore unfortunately we are unable to contact GP surgeries to request alternatives for our patients at this time. We have been asking our patients to help in this matter by contacting their own GP surgeries to request alternatives and have often found this to be more successful as patients are involved in the prescribing of alternatives as they can have a discussion with their clinician. As for the treatment you feel you received by our staff.
