3 times i have gone to collect my precription queued for 45 minutes to be told it isnt ready it was send 2 weeks prior, was told they dont text anymore and then was asked did i get a text, next visit 35 mintues to be told it isnt ready. 3rd visit 20 minute wait with one person serving only 1 till and the queue out of the door on all 3 occations.worse thsn before when they moved to bigger pharmacy. i would rather travel to eastleigh than to wait for so long each time.this pharmacy has gone down hill and needs sorting out

Lady receptionist who has been there for years- great women- The pharmacists are rude and do not care for their customers. They tell me the Doctor has got it wrong !They told me something was in the bag which wasnt !

This pharmacy has the longest waiting time i've ever experienced. their normal waiting time is around 7 days. They eve put a note on their desk saying the normal waiting time is up to 7 days. For the last few months it was never shorter than that. I needed my heart tablets urgently and their reply was sorry you need to wait because it is not available. I decided to call any other pharmacy asking about my tablets and they said I can come at any time to buy them so it proves they are not fit for purpose. Last time I waited 8 days for my patches. Their waiting time is unacceptable. the normal waiting time at other pharmacies is from an hour till max 2 days so I decided to change pharmacy

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to review our Boyatt Pharmacy although naturally we are disappointed to read the details you've kindly supplied and apologise for any delayed waiting time you've experienced. We advise our valued patients to request prescriptions 7 days before running out. General repeat medications are ready within 48 hrs of receipt of the prescription from GP, however some may take a little longer if medications are out of stock. If medications are out of stock we will always aim to source from another supplier. If attending and waiting for medications, we will prioritise this. On occasions the Pharmacist might be with a patient attending to such consultations as Pharmacy First appointments but we will always aim to do our very best as quickly as possible. I was out of medication and needed a prescription in a hurry. I arrived just after lunch on Monday was greeted politely and my prescription had already been made up. Very efficient, friendly service, Thank you.

Every time there seems to be such a long wait to be served. Today ten mins just stood there waiting for someone to acknowledge me and there were about six staff walking around maybe dedicate one member to be at the counter more please

The service at the pharmacy, has deteriorated over the time. The new system of texting when prescriptions are ready doesn't work. I was sent two texts this week to advise me to collect my prescription, but when I arrived and the staff had spent over 30 minutes looking for it, the assistant then asked me whether I was sure that they had a prescription available to collect. It is complete chaos behind the counter! This inability to find made up prescriptions happens every time! Finally, they have now indicated that repeat prescriptions sent across from surgeries will take 5 days to process and make up. Unfortunately they made this decision without pre-warning their customers who have now been left waiting even longer to try to collect their medication. Having been patient, and hoping it would improve, I'm now voting with my feet and going elsewhere.

Had to wait 32 minutes for my meds as people that came in after me had theirs done before me the pharmacist said he was sorry he forgot me. You would think there would be a system in place so this wouldn't happen.
