Review titled Disgusted
Rated 1 star out of 5

I am utterly appalled by the abysmal service I received at Brighton Hill Pharmacy. After NHS 111 advised me to book a pharmacist appointment for my 10-year-old daughter following a phone assessment, I promptly did so. Upon arriving early for the appointment, we were met with a shocking display of unprofessionalism. The pharmacist, clearly visible in his office, chose to communicate through the cashier, refusing to personally address us. The cashier relayed his message: that we should instead seek an appointment with our doctor. This diagnosis, or rather lack thereof, was delivered without the pharmacist even bothering to examine my daughter. To add insult to injury, when I returned to the pharmacy less than an hour later to collect a prescription, I witnessed the same pharmacist attending to another family with a child in his office. The blatant contradiction of his earlier refusal to see my daughter left me completely speechless.

Review titled Flu Vaccine: Disorganised and chaotic.

Having booked an early morning appointment time in advance, staff weren’t ready to start on time, appointment lists for privately booked appointments hadn’t been prepared or given to staff, and I was therefore missed and kept waiting. When I asked if my name was on the list (when patients with later appointments started to be called through ahead of me), I was asked where I’d booked and told that I wasn’t on the system. When I went to show the email confirmation of my booking I suddenly seemed to appear on their system and was then seen next. I was offered no apology for any of this which cost me £20, and a subsequent late arrival at work due to their disorganised and chaotic system. Very disappointed.

Review titled Wonderful Caring Staff

I have always been given exceptional service at this pharmacy, they work quickly, they notice when your struggling (wheelchair user) and proactively help. If desperate they deliver (vital when your house bound most of the time by necessity)they are speedy, offer a fantastic range of services and most importantly they are just all very understanding and kind. The best pharmacy I have ever used and I have to go twice a month for buckets of medications.
