  1. Review titled Scammed out of £92

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Joy - Posted on 16 October 2024

Told pharmacy I was allergic to Moderna when invited for covid vaccination. Got there to find that they had not told me I had to pay £92 and that NHS England would only do Moderna vaccinations. Everyone had to pay for Pfizer. Went to my GP and they are doing pfizer and I could have it for free as I am eligible. I have just wasted £92 on a money grabbing behaviour that does the company no favours.

  2. Review titled Telephone response

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I have now tied at least 6 times to contact the pharmacy by telephone. I have tried at different times of the day. I hear their message about travel vaccinations which I don’t want. I want to speak to someone but after a short while I am told to “ring back later”! This I have tried to do but to no avail. When do they answer the phone?

Good Afternoon. I am sorry you were unable to get through to us and completely understand how frustrating this must have been. Our phone lines are extremely busy, but our staff do their best to answer the calls. We are looking at putting a new system in place that has a queuing system, similar to the surgery. You are welcome to send any queries to our email address which is monitored throughout the day, pharmacy.fp995@nhs.net. Kind Regards Clarepharm Pharmacy

  3. Review titled Gone downhill

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Linda Tennison - Posted on 19 November 2023

Over the past few months, I have experienced a number of problems with my prescriptions. Items missing without owing notes has happened three times. Told I would get a call when missing medication was ready, but didn’t get that call. Issued the wrong medication, which I initially thought was a change of packaging or make. After taking it for a few days, found I was getting more pain, so googled medication to discover it was blood thinners rather than anti inflammatory medication. This was resolved when I returned to the pharmacy. When you try to contact them by phone they rarely answer and the system cuts you off. The staff are always polite and friendly but are clearly rushed off their feet. As a result of the downturn in accuracy, I have decided to have my prescriptions send to an alternative pharmacy.

  4. Review titled Friendly helpful practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Opting to have my COVID jab at the Honiton practice turned out to be an excellent choice. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and had time to discuss issues with me. Highly recommended.

  5. Review titled Helpful staff but!!

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 31 August 2023

They are very helpful but!!! I thought you go to see GP, get diagnosis, prescription sent to chemist for immediate meds. No not the case. They said may have them Friday and they only got prescription last night (Wednesday) and didn't have stock. I know they have recently taken over from Lloyds but surely immediate medication (not in common drugs) should be available the day you have seen the GP? The GP and patient don't know what is required 2 days before. Everything has gone electronic but surely it should work the same way as when you left the surgery and took your paper prescription to the chemist.
