    Nobody answers this phone, so on Monday I drove over & booked my repeat prescription in person. The queue was all the way round the shop and out the door.... 20 minute wait. I was 9th in the queue when I went to collect on Thurs... another almost 15 minute wait... and no prescription at the end of it! They said Mon- Thurs wasn't long enough! I said but it was monday last week... hmm: no answer to that, except then it turns out they had no record of my repeat request... even tho I'd watched the staff member put my details in the computer.. To top it all, exactly the same thing happened when I ordered a repeat about 6 months ago. Worryingly, while I was there I witnessed them give a member of the public someone else's prescription paperwork. That person may also write a review, so this is here to corroborate. There is a total lack of any form of basic organisation in this place, it's scary to think that they are dealing with vital medicines; they clearly can't even manage basic office skills. By now I've run out of meds. Luckily, the Extremely Nice receptionist at Aylmer Lodge has rushed me through a repeat... What a dreadful situation Cohens put the receptionists in, when they are the ones who have to deal with the people Cohens are letting down. I only hope that Cohens can manage to do their job and finally get my prescription made up; another drive across town to collect..... Three journeys for one prescription...... I wonder how long the queue will be this time?

    Thank you for leaving this feedback. We are very sorry to read of the issues you have experienced with this pharmacy it is not the level of service we would expect our customers to receive. I have forwarded your feedback to the manager of the pharmacy and to the regional manager and asked them to look into and rectify the issues you have experienced. We are aware there are staffing issues currently at the pharmacy but we are working hard to get these back to an appropriate level, with new staff joining the team. We are very sorry for the frustration and inconvenience our patients are currently experiencing but please be assured we are working hard to get the pharmacy back on track as fast as possible. If you do use Cohen's again I hope you find the service vastly improved. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The Cohens Group

    Ordered medication waited a week for 1/2 of it to be missing and had to go to another pharmacy to fill one part of the script. Tried calling numerous times (28) in fact to be cut of went back to complain about missing items to find notice on door saying will be back at two. On website it says delivery via Royal Mail I’ve never been given this option delivery of my medication just stopped after receiving a txt. Tried emailing them no reply! So annoyed went to another pharmacy to fill my script 5 min wait so I’ve asked to swap to them now. Unable to complain in writing as couldn’t find anything on website! Cost me £15 in taxi’s. Totally rubbish service and the only pharmacy that doesn’t open on weekends

I have requested they look into and rectify the issues you have experienced.     Had a difficult situation with my sons prescription. The one chemist hadn't got what we needed so had to take it to Cohens. Its a very much longer story so this is just a shorten version but after a very long wait and the pharmacy working very hard with us we eventually got my sons prescription. I just want to thank Cohens for being a absolute gem they are amazing and work very hard. With the situation yesterday evening you all deserve a medal. Well done thankyou so much.

    I do not think that words exist to describe how terrible this pharmacy is. My doctor left a prescription with them on a Friday; I rang them next Monday and was told that it was ready. My wife visited Tuesday and was told that it wasn't, following which I rang again to eventually be told that it was. I was also told that my wife should have said that I had rang, in which case, she could have collected the medicine. The person was unable to say why that information was relevant. My wife went again on Wednesday, only to be told again that it was not. Another person there confirmed that it had been dispensed. A month earlier, this pharmacy had given me the wrong medicine. It will be appreciated that I do not intend to go there ever egain.

    Thank you for your feedback. I have investigated this with the pharmacy manager - the prescription was issued late Friday, we received and processed the prescription first thing on Monday morning. The prescription was sent to our HO for dispensing and was due to be ready on Tuesday after 3.00pm. You explained you needed it earlier and a colleague agreed to pull it back and dispensing it for you. Unfortunately when your wife attended the pharmacy the staff member looked at our system and saw that it had been sent to our HO for processing - she was unaware of the conversation you had with another staff member for this miscommunication we apologise for. We are sorry that you then had to contact the pharmacy again to chase up your prescription but the team did try to explain to you what had happened. We apologise for any frustration this has caused and will ensure better communication within the team going forward. The Cohens Group
