On 3rd December I went to this pharmacy to collect my prescription for my cancer drug. They didn't have enough of the medication in so gave me a partial amount telling me to go back the following day. I asked them to text me when it was in to save me from going and it hadn't yet arrived. I received a message on 4th December. I was only able to go to the pharmacy today. When I got to the counter I explained that I was there to collect my husbands prescription and the remainder of mine from 3rd December. The assistant went to get them and came back with my husbands, saying there was nothing for me. I explained again that this must be an error as I had a text to say it was ready. I got the text up and read it out to them with the time and date. Another assistant said that they would not send a text for a partial prescription so this must be wrong. They then said that they had claimed the prescription on the 5th December which meant I had collected it. I explained again that I hadn't and I wasn't really sure what they meant by they had claimed the prescription. I also said that the last few times I had been in for this prescription they had been unable to fulfil it and I had to go back in. A third assistant a few meters away started to say that's because they don't have it in stock. I said that isn't really my issue and I was then told, well you're not the only one on this medication. I was then asked again, was I sure I hadn't collected it, with them saying that it must have been collected. This time another assistant got involved and said to her colleague under her breath - its been claimed so it must have been collected. I challenged her and she said she wasn't speaking under her breath - she was speaking to her colleague and accused me of being rude. They said they would need to speak to the pharmacist. After 5 minutes I spoke with the pharmacist who stated she remembered me from the 3rd December as she had served me and did not know what had happened to the prescription from 4th, I expressed that the staff had been rude to me and had actually upset me, these is after all medication into treat breast cancer. No apology was given from any of the assistants who were rude and disrespectful, raising their voices at me when the pharmacy was full. I will be changing my pharmacy as I will not be treated this way. Someone at the pharmacy has made an error and my prescription was missing. It was inferred I was lying and trying to claim an additional prescription which is shocking and appalling service.

Thank you for leaving this feedback. We are very sorry to read of the issues you have experienced with this pharmacy it is not the level of service we would expect our customers to receive. I have forwarded your feedback to the manager of the pharmacy and to the regional manager and asked them to look into and rectify the issues you have experienced. We are aware there are staffing issues currently at the pharmacy but we are working hard to get these back to an appropriate level - currently the field team are supporting the team. We are very sorry for the frustration and inconvenience our patients are currently experiencing but pease be assured we are working hard to get the pharamcy back on track. This was my first time of picking up a prescription in this pharmacy and the gentleman who served me was so efficient in his job and made everyone feel so at ease. He is an absolute credit to the company, he obviously cares about every individual customer. I was in awe at his customer service.
