Review titled Terrible Service
Rated 1 star out of 5

My last 2 pescriptions have not been fulfilled, last month when going to collect after the 7 day wait i was told that they didnt have 1 medication, when it was explained that I had none they took 1/2 from a different patient and gave me those and a note saying they owed me 28 tablets. After calling in 3 times in the next fortnight to collect and being told they didnt have them, on the last day before running out again, went to the doctors to get a new pescription which was filled in Newark. I made my new order on the 12th of Dec expecting it to be ready on the 19th, no contact from the pharmacy yesterday (day 7), ran out yesterday morning, but would have been ok for evening dose. Called in today, no medication available, 3 items required, told they may have them on Monday try then. The Surgery wrote a new pescription to go to town tomorrow to get my meds.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately due to the anonymous nature of your feedback we are unable to determine the nature of your comments and therefore unable to address your feedback appropriately. We obtain our medications from no less than 11 individual suppliers and place multiple orders each day. We can only surmise that the medications were unavailable for an extended period of time. Review titled Worse service to date!
Rated 1 star out of 5

This morning after ringing beforehand and being told my prescription was ready, I called to collect and was told by the server that they didn't have any at the minute- I informed her it was confirmed at 9.50am today they would be ready to collect I was told to wait for my meds to be signed off which I did - then as other customers came in (known to the server) they got theirs dealt with first, that needed signing off like mine- I walked up to the counter when everyone had gone and she didn't even seem to know who or what I was there for! Definitely needs more intensive training please!!!

and uncaring. Absolutely must/will not waver from the (7 day turnaround) repeated to me numerous times in telephone conversation. Because I had been ill, I was one day late in ordering my husbands repeat prescription. Therefore tablets not delivered, although a cream ordered for him by the nurse on the same day, was delivered. I have no transport, therefore now I have to use a local car scheme and pay in order for my husband to get tablets for his alzheimers. I also agree when I can arrange to visit the pharmacy that queue waiting time can be anything up to 30 minutes. Poor service.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you feel that the pharmacy is unhelpful and uncaring in providing medications to you. I can assure you that this is not the case. Given that you have no transport I’m sure you will benefit from renewing your arrangements for our delivery service. All patients can order a clear 10 days in advance of need for repeat medications. This can be done using the NHS App if required.

I agree in full with the previous reviews. The queues are slow, the people serving are inefficient. The drugs aren’t available. They have now extended the time from putting in a repeat prescription to picking it up, this has gone out to 7 days, which is no use to me because I run out of tablets before I can pick my new ones up. Chemists & Doctors don’t seem to realise that only month has 28 days and I am usually short by 2-3 tablets (I understand that there are medical reasons for this). This Pharmacy needs a Manager or better Trained Staff.

Hard to know where to start. The queues get longer and longer. Slow service has become a feature. I watch elderly patients sitting (thankfully) in the queue despairing at time they have to wait. This morning a male customer tried to collect a prescription for a female. 4 times he had to correct the name that the assistant was looking for. She went off to look for the items but each time came back saying she couldn't find anything, but stated the wrong name. He was very patient and I explained to him that this was why I printed my order out and brought it with me. If assistants have a problem remembering a patient's name why not write it down? The queue frequently goes around the shop and back on itself. People come towards the shop and when they see this they walk off. We have lived here for 22 years and have always used this pharmacy. These issues have become prevalent in the last two years. It never used to be like this. I don't know what the remedy is but it would be nice to think that some kind of review could be carried out. The people of Collingham and the surrounding villages deserve better.

Without fail, when I go to collect my elderly friend’s repeat prescription medication. The items aren’t all there, in fact everyone who queues there each week is in the same boat. Only 1 in 6 people actually get what they have ordered, It’s the customer joke. I’m sure there are supply issues but the fact that the staff then forget to sometimes admit that the full prescription isn’t in the bag you are collecting for someone, and then fail to give an IOU so you can actually go and collect the missing parts when They eventually do arrive is just incompetence. We live in the countryside , people work and have to juggle their lives just to get in to stand around for 30mins waiting for the behind the counter chaos to unravel every day, it is beyond exasperating. My former pharmacy was exemplary, drugs were always there and there was a text sent to the patient when their drugs were ready. Poor management and a shambles

Review titled Repeat prescriptions
Rated 4 stars out of 5

Having ordered my repeat prescription ten days in advance as requested by the pharmacy when I called to collect I was advised that Atorvastatin in the dosage required would not be available until September. I then had to go back to the doctors To get a new prescription. As I had only one tablet left this had to done by the next day. The pharmacy must have known for at least seven days that they did not have the product or any likelihood of getting it in time. Why didn't someone either contact me or the doctors to advise so that the prescription could have been amended earlier?
