Similar to other reviews, staff were openly being judgemental regarding patients and were using derogative language in addition to becoming increasingly ill mannered and defensive when challenged. Significantly poor customer service avoid at all costs.

Staff were rude during phone call. Thought they’d put the phone on hold, but actually hadn’t I could hear their whole conversation of mocking and slating patients

I have prepaid prescriptions over a 3 month period, they took payment again when my partner collected on my behalf due to me being unable physically. When I rang to try and sort the mistake out, I was rudely and abruptly told "it's not their responsibility". I have paid for a service I am not getting and will be moving pharmacy.

Dear Len, Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention. As a healthcare provider, we prioritize assisting all individuals including some of the most vulnerable in society. It's against our core values to take advantage of any patient. Regarding NHS prescription charges, they are directed to the NHS, not individual pharmacies. When you called, my colleague aimed to clarify a matter that may have been misunderstood. Patients are responsible for accurately completing the declaration on their prescriptions to avoid NHS fines. An NHS Prescription pre-payment is valid for either 3 or 12-months, allowing unlimited prescriptions within that period. Your partner paid 2 prescription charges during collection as he was unsure of your pre-payment status. Due to your change of address, the NHS system couldn't confirm your pre-payment accurately. Thank you for providing proof of your exemption directly to me, a full refund has been actioned. I hope this resolves the matter, please feel free to contact me if your require any further assistance. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards, Navid Kaleem (Pharmacy Owner)

  4. Review titled Excellent service

Moved to this chemist for regular prescriptions after a horrendous year with another nearby pharmacy. Repeat prescriptions ordered for us, ready when we collected and correct. Lovely helpful staff who really know their stuff and made me feel comfortable after I was referred to them by our doctor.
