  1. Review titled Disappointing and Unreliable

Rated 1 star out of 5

I had booked a Covid booster at this pharmacy and had confirmation of the appointment. I turned up at the duly appointed time to be told we are not doing them today. It wasn't due to unexpected sickness or similar they just claimed my appointment wasn't in their diary. I don't appreciate having my time wasted I have asked NHS direct to investigate and get back to me. I very rarely use this chemist as it's opening hours are not very customer friendly. It closes at lunchtime, finishes at 6pm and only opens for 4 hours on Saturdays. Another annoying factor is that they only have one disabled bay in their very small hard to manoeuvre in car park. The car park is often full when there doesn't appear to be any customers in the pharmacy. On several occasions in the past when I have needed to use the disabled bay there has been a van parked in it not displaying a disabled pass so obviously not entitled to park there. I assume it is their prescription delivery van as it is always the same van. I now use the chemist on Hempshaw Lane who's opening hours are much more sensible and in keeping with the demands of modern life.
