I took my 94 year old dad for his Covid jab.He uses a walking frame.We queued in the back lane full of bins along with other elderly people with frames and sticks.there were 2 big steps up into the building followed by a step once you entered.he had to leave his frame and hold onto the door frames.he caught his foot as he entered.He was told to take his jacket off and was jabbed as soon as he stood up.There was no communication,just done as fast as possible.Another elderly lady couldn`t manage the steps and was directed to the front entrance where there was still a step up.there isn’t room to swing a cat let alone have safe access for the elderly.Because of the supposed one way system she met my dad in the middle ,trying to pass without falling.I really think there should be ramps or some warning when you book that this is not a suitable option for elderly people who use aids.we definitely won’t use this chemist again.

Quite a queue for vaccines but a great day so pleasant wait with a chair provided for those in need. Very efficient staff, busy but with time to interact and be pleasant. Thank you.

Today I had my Covid vaccine. There was quite a queue. The staff were under pressure giving vaccines but we're pleasant and welcoming. Nay bother ! Many thanks.

This is an excellent pharmacy. The staff are very caring, professional and knowledgeable, and the service provided is superb. I have no hesitation recommending this pharmacy, and I am very grateful for the wonderful service they provide.

Really friendly staff and excellent service to get my COVID booster.I arrived early but they were more than happy to see me early.The injection didn't hurt.

My experience at Douglas Pharmacy was truly heart warming, the caring and friendly team provided a very efficient, personalised service for me and my family, including young children. Whenever I collect our regular prescriptions they are always ready in advance, which makes the service feel super reliable. I had a concern regarding my child and I really felt that my problem was listened to, and I was guided through appropriate solutions. All my concerns were met and mind was put to rest before leaving. The pharmacist took time to speak to me and many other patients individually, despite running into the staff lunch time. They made sure that I would be able to contact them again if I had any further queries and I felt they really cared about my problems. I was also worried about an elderly family member being able to attend for a COVID vaccine, but the staff accommodated exceptionally well! I feel very fortunate to have a team like this within the community!
