    The NHS prescription system failed. The Pharmacist refused to help me other than to say what I had already said. I proposed a purchase by a social worker that needs to be refunded. He refused. He talked me around in circles politely trying to provoke and annoy me. I asked for a receipt / refund form. He refused. I rang NHS Prescriptions Head Office. They said there are three simple solutions the pharmacist should be aware of but he failed to mention them. He enjoyed saying I can pay but I won't get a refund. I was in pain and he knew it. In the mean time the social worker made a purchase elsewhere. I rang him for a third time and told him about the three procedural solutions he should have been aware of. 1. He rings my GP and gets the prescription emailed to him. 2. I ring the doctor and get the prescription printed off. 3. The GP emails the prescription to me. Finally a cooperative helpful solution. (4. He takes the money and refunds it when the prescription turns up on his system.) His answer to this was to say that's all nothing to do with him. It's down to the GP surgery. He revelled, politely, in the fact that the prescription had been purchase and couldn't be refunded. He refused to detail any complaints procedure other than to say that that I might find something online. All this was wholly unnecessary, he should have had a solution or made enquiries. He enjoyed him self being so obstructive because I said he must surely have contingency plans. He decided to provoke me politely talking around in circles because he didn't have a solution or didn't want to have a solution. He preferred to provoke and argue with confident fluency while I suffered.
