Review titled Poor service
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by JDR - Posted on 16 September 2023
I have used this pharmacy for my prescriptions for over a decade and have seen a gradual decline in the quality of service provided. I visited today to pick up my prescription ordered from my GP on over 2 weeks ago. There has been a steady increase in the time required to process repeat prescriptions with 7 days now being requested between order and collection. I try to leave plenty of time to allow for this to be organised, but despite this I was told my medication was not in stock, but will definitely be ready on Monday, which is a day I will be working and unable to pick up. I have never considered switching before, as this is my local pharmacy and a service I want to support and keep in the village, but if the service remains this poor then I will have no choice but to switch to a more reliable provider elsewhere. Please improve your services or the pharmacy will end up closing.

Review titled Service disgraceful

Visited Sept 1st, despite numerous staff, half of which doing nothing, waited 17mins to speak to someone to explain tablets "missing" from order, another 13mins for some sort of action, only to find they couldn't add up and still tablets were short. Over 20 people waiting to be served, total shambles to say the least. Then to be told they were no longer offering a delivery service. Definately not going back. Disgraceful service.

Review titled Unorganised

Prescriptions not ready. I have realised I need to put my order in a good week before my husbands heart medication runs out. I have been in that chemist this morning and a man said he has been waiting for his medication for 3 days. He had none left. Asked to come back and he said no. They did his prescription there and then. I realise there's hundreds of more people collecting medication and they are busy. I'm knew to collecting repeat prescription due to my husband's recent heart attack. Some of the staff seem to have a attitude also. Prescriptions need to be ready for collection.
