I had no option but to go to this pharmacy for a COVID booster and oh my goodness what utter filth. The premises were dirty and filthy beyond belief. The treatment room is more like a storage cupboard with no hygiene standards at all. The staff were unfriendly beyond belief. I observed how they treated every single customer with disdain and contempt. They should not be dispensing medication or any kind of healthcare.

The pharmacist couldn’t have been less helpful. Prescription was sent by doctor but they couldn’t (be bothered) to find it. Second bad experience as last time their it systems were down, so couldn’t fulfil a prescription. But still made everyone stand in a queue for 20 mins to find out. Poor management. Poor customer service.

They charge £3.99 for a packet of 32 paracetamol capsules. These can be purchased for as little as £1 for 16 and therefore they are charging twice as much for a proprietory product. I did not think to check the price and was extremely surprised that it had cost around £8 to purchase 2 packets. When I returned to the shop later an extremely unhelpful shop assistant told me they do not issue refunds and claimed that it was a reasonable but relented when I asked to speak with the manager. Another more helpful assistant claimed they do not set the price. I pointed out that nevertheless they are party to the overcharge by stocking the product. There is a general tendency by this store to overcharge for many products. They are helpful in dispensing prescriptions but take care when buying anything at this store.
