I went for my Covid vaccination and the vaccinator had the most disgusting dirty fingernails. Looked like he's been digging the garden. Earth under the nails, down the side and under the cuticle. Cleanliness is absolutely essential when administering anything like this. Also, only 1 member of staff on shop floor. Poor woman was dealing with prescriptions and shop sales. By the time I left the queue was nearly out of the door. I think I won't ever be visiting Grayshott pharmacy again. And I hope this review will be read and acted upon.

No.1 - just to check in for a Covid jab took over 5 minutes due to an old lady asking for a refund for a hair product on the only till open in front of me. The assistant was helpful but had no authorisation to issue a refund on her card which upset the lady. I queued behind her throughout this conversation. I’m sure it was only about a £3.99 product. Painful to stand and listen to. Couldn’t she just be given a cash refund instead? She was quite distressed by the whole issue and said she didn’t want to return tomorrow or whenever the manager was available as it costs her petrol. Your employee tried to call a manager for assistance who didn’t answer the phone. I find that difficult to understand as there should always be someone in authority on site.m or st least on call. I work in a similar environment and having no management on site isn’t good. Ironically, the funniest part of this delay was because of this your Covid jab man shouted out for me across the shop as if I was late when I’d been queueing patiently!!!! No.2 I came for a Covid jab. The gentleman who did this was very helpful but he really needs to wash his hands if he gives out drugs/injections. His hands and especially fingers/nails look like he has been gardening or maybe working on a car engine and forgot to wash his hands thoroughly. For a pharmacy worker post Covid I struggle to understand the cleaniness of employees now dealing with health care issues. I do hope you can just direct your employee to be clean and give a much better impression of the standards both customers and you should expect.

The Grayshott Pharmacy has been taken over by Enimed, from Lloyds, who weren’t very good either. Went in there today after 5pm to buy an item. Shop looks very disorganised with unpacked boxes over the shop floor, and half empty shelves throughout. Several customers waiting for prescriptions, but I was the only customer waiting at a till to pay for an item - just one item! After a few minutes, the pharmacist asks from the back, can I help you. He says give me a minute. I wait patiently. Then he says after a while, can you give me 10 minutes. I replace the item on the shelf, leave and come back within 10 minutes, bedore 5.30pm, by which time they’ve locked up the shop for the afternoon! The shop seems very disorganised with several other staff in the back, but no one attending to the till for anyone who wants to buy anything. This follows the tradition of Lloyds previously not being very good for customer service. It’s all very simple really - appoint at least one person on the till to deal with customer sales. Obviously no one else could be bothered! It’s not very encouraging for a pharmacy to be disorganised, is it. Doesn’t encourage much trust in them, particularly as they put the NHS logo above the shop sign!
