  1. Review titled Terrible parking fine.

Rated 1 star out of 5

I parked outside not realising it had closed. I then decided to eat at a restaurant a few doors along. Received a £100 fine for the pleasure. I will never use this pharmacy again. Go to Vauxhall Street Pharmacy instead.

  2. Review titled Getting Disappointed

Rated 2 stars out of 5

The last 2 months I have struggled to get all of my prescriptions at once, despite asking to be on the text service I have never had a text to tell me my prescriptions are ready. I have to phone to find out if they have received it then when I go to get them I get told that I’ve got to come back for the rest as they never seem to have all of mine in stock. Bearing in mind I am disabled I really struggle to keep going back to pick up the rest. Yesterday was not very good at all, I went to collect the rest of my prescriptions as they had only given me 2 weeks worth, it was very busy but I was expecting it to of been dispensed and ready for to pick up as it had been two weeks but it wasn’t, I stood there for 20mins waiting for my prescription and being the last person to get it 3 other people got theirs that came in after me. Later that evening I checked my boxes and had a very important prescription missing! It was 5.50 when I left the chemist and they close at 6pm, I have spent most of today trying to call them to sort it out but they are not answering their phone. I like the staff in there, they are polite and helpful but this is getting to much for me!

I am a student at the local university and when my pharmacy shut down I had to move to this one and they've been much better than my old one, as long as you give them two working days to get your prescription ready it will be ready.

  4. Review titled Poor Service

Rated 1 star out of 5

During the last 2-3 months the customer service has been very bad. I have ordered my prescription, the pharmacy haven't even bothered to try to order it if out of stock, and have returned it to Spine and asked me to try other pharmacies, or recommended weaker products. It's just like they can't be bothered. I used Hurns for a while with good results, but not anymore and I have been forced to change to a more caring pharmacy.

  5. Review titled Poor service

Review:  I have used this pharmacy for several years and have always found the staff and service to be excellent. Unfortunately the Unthank Road pharmacy fell short today as they were unwilling to fulfill a valid prescription issued by an internet physician service. Increasingly people are having to rely on internet doctors , particularly for urgent issues, as access to NHS doctors can be very limited in the short term. Most pharmacies recognise this and are able to provide this vital additional service . Despite being in some discomfort I was forced to go to another pharmacy in Cringleford who provided the medication. I feel that Hurns needs to look at this again and from the viewpoint of its customers rather than its own convenience. It cannot be difficult to access this nationally established and recognised platform so I wonder if the decision not to adopt it is partly commercial ? I really hope not as the pharmacy occupies an important place in its community and is relied on and trusted by a large number of people locally.
