  1. Review titled Poor service

Rated 1 star out of 5

I went to collect an item for my son which the pharmacy didn’t have last week. I told the pharmacist that I had tried to call this morning ( after 9am ) but that the automated message said that the pharmacy was closed . The pharmacist was dismissive and abrupt , replying that other calls had got through . I found her attitude rude & unhelpful. I have seen that many reviews point to unsatisfactory customer service and I do wonder if anything is being done to address this issue. I do not have these issues with Morrisons pharmacists who routinely go above and beyond and are unfailingly polite .

  2. Review titled Awful customer service - useless and rude!

Rated 1 star out of 5

Do not go to this pharmacy!! Twice they gave me less tablets than my prescription was for and gave me a dud inhaler when I called to complain the lady was so rude and not bothered so I went in to complain and they argued and shouted across the pharmacy! Staff are so incompetent it’s shocking and after reading many reviews it’s a common occurrence!

  3. Review titled Poor experience at flu jab

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 October 2023

My wife and I have just had flu jabs at Knights in Solihull. Her appointment was scheduled 10 minutes before mine, but as hers was free and mine private, I was asked to have mine first because I was private which wasn’t fair to my wife. I got the pharmacist but my wife got an assistant. The jabs were painful and the staff didn’t swab our arms beforehand or offer a sticking plaster afterwards. We often receive brusque service from this pharmacy and are unlikely to return

Dear Anonymous, Many thanks for your review and we apologise for the poor experience you feel you received at our Solihull branch. We will take your comments on board when flu clinics restart in September. We would not wish any patient to receive a brusque service from our team. Private flu vaccinations are delivered under a Patient Group Directive which can only be undertaken by a Pharmacist vaccinator in our branch. A free (NHS) flu jab is delivered under a National Protocol and this can be delivered by a trained non-Pharmacist vaccinator. Both members of staff complete exactly the same vaccination training. Flu vaccination guidelines direct that a swab of the area is not required unless the area is visibly dirty. Similarly, we would not routinely apply a sticking plaster to a vaccination site but are more than happy to apply one if requested. Many thanks, Knights Pharmacy Team
