We always use this local pharmacy, they are massive part of the community, let alone a resource to the tourist trade. The care and attention I received today was exceptional. Very rarely do I need to use , but the personal attention I received was fantastic….

Whilst on holiday i ran out of a prescribed medication. The pharmacist was able to prescribe me a further dose which was a life saver. The pharmacist was attentive and friendly and very helpful. In a busy holiday town like this, this service is absolutely vital to people like me, far from home, who find themselves stuck . they provided an excellent service for which i am very grateful as i am sure many holiday makers have been this summer.

I had arrived on holiday without one of my medications. The pharmacist went over and above to ensure I got an emergency supply. Helping navigate 111 when I had trouble getting through. He was caring and considerate ensuring my wife and I were ok. I was overwhelmed by his ability to put me at my ease but with great professionalism. An excellent service and experience- avoiding an emergency hospital visit or return home. Thank you

We are here in St.Ives Cornwall on holiday and noticed my young son had a rash that was getting slowly worse… went into the local pharmacist Leddra Chemist and the service we were offered was very exceptional. Not only did he verify and accurately assess the condition he knew exactly what medicines needed to be prescribed. Sadly due to the confines of the system he was unable to give us these medicines without us conferring with a registered Doctor. Not only did he allow us to use his personal line to make the necessary call but also spoke with the local practitioner… gave us directions to the surgery and waited past opening hours to accommodate us getting our prescription as he was worried about our child. Totally made what could have been a worrying holiday moment into An Easily deal able moment. Totally impressed with all parts of this service.

We are on holiday and phoned ahead for emergency contraception as my daughter had left hers at home. The pharmacist gave us clear instructions on ringing 111. Then we arrived at leadera to pick the prescription up. Fantastic !

On holiday in St Ives, and was having symptoms of nasal issues (blockage and tenderness) that was happening long term. Explained everything about my day to day experiences and was pleasantly surprised to have been seen on the spot so quickly. The owner/manager was very attentive and helpful even though we wasn’t from the area and was able to give me some advise and support as to what may be causing this issue for me. He prescribed me some nasal liquid solution within the hour and gathered my details for my pharmacy at home. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

I have been searching for my HRT medication for nearly 6 months....it is completely unavailable where I live and all around the country. Dropped into Leddra pharmacy while I was on holiday in st. Ives, they had some available, but it required a change to the paper prescription I had, requiring me to ask my GP to send them the electronic prescription once i got back home....and they very very kindly packaged and posted it to me! Absolutely brilliant, thank you so much!

Visited the pharmacy for an emergency prescription for my wife. Exceptional staff who presented with a very friendly demeanour. Nothing was too much trouble and they relationship they have with each other and are able to project to the customers is brilliant. I wish every pharmacy I visited was as caring, attentive and friendly as this one.

On two occasions I have not been able to get my prescription, as the Chemist shop( Ledras) has been closed over the weekend due to no pharmacist available! ….This is really poor as the only other Chemists in St Ives is the / Pharmacy (Boots) at the surgery and it is closed all weekend! This is alarming and serious in case of emergencies! For Older people and those without transport getting to another Chemist which is open and out of St Ives is impossible! ! Ledras is letting the St Ives Community down! They have supported Ledras for years and it was always a great Chemists / Pharmacy!What is going on ?? I really don’t know!! I was 2/3 days late in taking my antibiotics , due to this Pharmacy being closed! It is really poor and people are getting frustrated and angry! Also on line it states that the Chemists is open!!! What a dire situation!

I went into to Leddra pharmacy today to see if they could fill a prescription that I needed whilst away on holiday. The 2 ladies behind the counter were incredibly friendly and although they didn’t have what I needed, they very helpful in trying to find the medicine for me. They called all of their other branches and managed to find it elsewhere which was great! Thanks again!
