I recently booked a flu jab via the nhs app unsure if it would be free or not based on the information provided and what happened last year. I was contacted by the pharmacy prior to the appointment to say they were cancelling the appointment as I was not over 65 and they had not had a delivery they were expecting which I totally understood and accepted. The pharmacy called back a few days later to book me in for another date, at no point did they ask if it was free or private. When I turned up for my appointment the pharmacist logged in to his system and asked if it was a private appointment as there was no sign on my records of qualification for a free one, explained I was unsure as last year the surgery had called me to book an appointment and nothing had changed since then. It was explained that I did not qualify but I could have a private appointment and it would be £30. I chose not to as I felt this a little steep. I have since found that the average costs range from £10 to £20. I think it was unacceptable that it was not until I was in the pharmacy before this was revealed. Somewhat disappointed at the way the pharmacy has gone about this and the very high price they are charging.

Always very helpful no matter how busy the pharmacy is. Prescriptions are delivered speedily and advice given when asked for. I'd definitely recommend this to pharmacy to anyone in bagshot.
