  1. Review titled Terrible customer service

Rated 1 star out of 5

The reception staff in this pharmacy are often rude and patronising. I ordered a repeat prescription in December not knowing that they had changed their policy for the time needing to wait to pick up a repeat prescription to 7 days. When I turned up on Day 6 the lady rudely pointed to the sign on the counter, had I known it was changing I would have ordered my prescription much earlier! I had run out of tablets so had to wait whilst they fulfilled the request. No one appears to be in charge and the staff dont appear to know what they are doing or have any sense of urgency, often happy to continue chatting before approaching the counter. The staff all need to go on a customer care course and learn how to be polite and respectful to customers. As someone else has mentioned a lot of the clientele of this pharmacy are old and infirm and therefore need to be dealt with in a sympathetic manner. It is going downhill fast, just like the doctors surgery it is attached to!

  2. Review titled A declining business

I have a monthly prescription sent to Lime Tree Surgery every month for the exact repeat medication. In the last month the service has become untenable. Waiting times of over 7 days.Reluctant to serve customers today it took 10 minutes to get someone out to serve. Access to drugs pharmacy never seemed to stock them. Quite honestly I don’t think they realise the importance of having regular medication. It now appears that the pharmacy needs 7 working days to dispense drug repeats. Bearing in mind this is over 1 week and the surgery require at least 5 working days patient’s need to submit their repeat 2 weeks after picking up their previous prescription. However the doctors computer system flag this up as Too Soon to Order so therefore there comes the problem. Patients who take regular medication do not need more stress. This pharmacy and system is broken

  3. Review titled Nightmare Service

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Limetree Pharmacy used to be outstanding until it became independent from the surgery. After taking my daughter to Phoenix surgery in Goring for an appointment (we live in the Valley) the GP emailed over a prescription to be collected straight away. Knowing it most likely would take a while to filter through, I went into the pharmacy later that afternoon. I waited 20mins in the queue gave my daughter's details and was then left standing at the counter for 10 mins whilst they checked the system. After another 10mins I asked if anyone was dealing with my request to be told they needed to make it up. I waited another 20mins in which time I had grabbed a bottle of calpol to purchase. When my prescription was handed over I told the pharmacist I wanted to pay for the calpol to which she replied she would get someone to serve me. Why she couldn't have just scanned it there and then I don't know. I waited 5 mins then left the calpol on the counter and walked out as by then I had been waiting in the pharmacy for an hour just to pick up 1 prescription and a bottle of calpol. It is extremely unorganised and the attitude of some of the staff members - especially towards the elderly is unacceptable.
