Had to contact NHS 111 for an emergency supply. Having come to my parents for Christmas I accidentally left one of my medications at home. Rather than be helpful. I was challenged stating that the doctors were open today! Yes! Correct, however I am not asking for a prescription I am asking for an emergency supply so I do not have to 1) drive over an hour home to fetch my meds 2) request a subscription which wouldn’t be approved as I already have one at home 3) go without Sadly, after the ‘shop girl’ decided that she was more informed than the actual pharmacist, I gave up having to argue my case as the staff clearly don’t understand this service and require training in all aspects of service. Merry Christmas! Enjoy your 2.5 hour round trip because this place is completely useless.
