Review titled Great patient care consistently
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have been a patient for years but the service from one of the long time serving members of staff over the years including today for me has been first class. I feel listened to and they attended to me speaking to me in the private consultation room this morning. They go above and beyond to help and I cannot thank them enough! I have never known any pharmacy to be like this one. I cannot name the person sadly I wish to compliment because of the rule of reviews but they are a very experienced member of the team, leading others.

Review titled Significant Mistakes
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Charlie Lang - Posted on 03 July 2023
I was turned away being told they didn't have my perscription. I contacted the surgery who confirmed it had been sent. After returning they eventually found it. However upon getting the medication home they have put the wrong medication leaflet in the box meaning I have no idea how to take or what the potential side affects are. In my opinion very dangerous given the leaflet says to take the tablets 5 times a day. After checking on line that dose of this poticular medication would be potentially fatal!!

Review titled Dispenser/worker

I spoke to someone on the phone, I explained that I wouldn't be able to attend the pharmacy today as I don't finish work until 8pm and asked if the meds could be delivered as I have the last one for today, but tomorrow morning I need to take one and wont be able to attend the pharmacy until after work (6pm). The boy I spoke with said we don't do delivery and I explained I've had delivery before for certain reasons and have also paid over the phone. He said we only delivery for the vulnerable and elderly. I'm partially sighted (only have vision in my right eye), have asthma and am taking medicine for anxiety and depression, I also don't have the luxury of family to depend on, I am completely alone - and I understand that this still does not mean I am classed as vulnerable in an official sense - which is fine. However, I tried to explain to this boy that I won't be able to get the medication until after 6pm the next day. My doctor has told me to take the medication at the same time each day and seriously cannot be missed, I take it after breakfast- so when I explained this to the boy, he was speaking over me and wasn't even listening to what I was trying to get him to understand and kept denying my request. He wasn't the owner and didn't give me the option to speak to the owner until much later. I don't understand how my circumstances on this occasion couldn't be taken into account - I'm actually baffled at how rude, unconsiderate and heartless this child was acting but I'm seriously unimpressed and will be sitting a formal co.plaknt against this man as I now will not be able to take my medication and probably will bave to start the whole process from scratch...
