I was in the pharmacy today trying to get medication for my son who has scarlet fever, when asked if it was in stock I was instantly told they were out of stock and that was it next customer. When I questioned a bit further I was told again that 'I would not get it anywhere in the country because its out of stock that's what that means'. The woman was incredibly rude. I asked if she knew when it would be back in stock and again was told that it was out of stock and I'd have to ring the doctors and change the medication. It was then that her colleague corrected her and told her they did have some in stock. The woman just didn't want to check, when dealing with medications how dangerous is that attitude. She then told me I'd have to ring the doctors to get his NHS number, again I questioned this and she eventually agreed to search his details. When she couldn't find them she was ready again to just get rid of me as quickly as possible until I asked her to check again which was a huge inconvenience for her, eye rolling, huffing. Absolutely terrible employee. The rest of the staff swooping in to help actually get the prescription I came for for my poorly son saved the day. Terrible.
