I twice had a prescription of antibiotics sent to me from specialist in homerton for S.I.B.O.treatment. the medication is 4 weeks treatment to be used over a period of one year. last time the chemist at Morrisons was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable about the prescription saying this medication costs £1000 and why arent they issuing the meds from the hospital pharmacy. it is difficult to get paid by them etc. so this year again I received the same prescription . .... I was anxious to put it in but eventually I put it in today and within 20 minutes they phoned me back can you come collect your prescription cos we can't get it for you. I checked my rights on the web and rang back saying you cant refuse a prescription for me, oh we aren't refusing we just won't be able to get it for you ....???? I replied I am not in a rush please get he prescription and tell me when it is in for me to collect. This Pharmacy is trying to pick and choose it's orders as to what suits them and any difficult or expensive items they are refusing. unacceptable. now left me not wantibg to go there in future despite my GP sending all prescriptions to them. I will also complain to spring hill practice.
