  1. Review titled Lacking Professionalism.

Rated 1 star out of 5

I went to the parmacy seeking help and advice for an attack of gout I was enduring,( due to not being able to get a Doctors appointment for 2 weeks..) I spoke to the assistant who relayed my information to the Pharmacist who was stood 6ft away. He in turn gave his answer to the assistant and passed back to me.."No sorry we can't help you" No words of advice or help. Instant dismissal. Just couldn't be bothered. I was the only customer present at the time. I am 67 years old and now increasingly imobile .

  2. Review titled Unprofessional, rude and ignorant staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

Morrison's Pharmacy at Riversway in Preston has deteriorated in the past year. Whenever I have been to the pharmacy, I am waiting at least 10 minutes in a queue. You are stood there waiting whilst three or more staff are milling around in the back - never a 'I won't be a second' to diffuse any potential situations. Prescriptions are never ready when you go and you are asked to go and do some shopping and then have to wait another 10 minutes again in the queue. This weekend has been the worst experience and has prompted this review! I ordered my son's epileptic medication on Tuesday and went to collect it on Friday (again waiting in a long queue) to be to told it would not be ready for 30 minutes and I should do some shopping. After my shopping and again queuing, I was told the prescription was still not ready and to come back the next day! I went back today (Saturday) and waiting 20 minutes in the queue, was told it was still not ready and if I wanted to stay and wait, it would be 1 hour! My son's medication runs out tomorrow (Sunday) In the end, I demanded the prescription back and I was walking out of the pharmacy and a number of people all said the same thing - that it happens to them all the time. This has happened to me on a few occasions now. I took my prescription to another pharmacy and had it made up within 5 minutes. I have come home and changed my pharmacy for myself, both my children and urged other family members to do the same. The staff are rude, ignorant and unprofessional. Something needs to be done before they lose all custom. I just feel sorry for the people who depend on getting prescriptions on time and are being let down and really struggle to get it sorted.
