Everytime I use this pharmacy I’m met with unpleasant, sour staff that seem to take great joy in being difficult and awkward. They then proceed to have personal and sensitive conversations with you in front of everyone else in the pharmacy / surgery at that time. They are unprofessional and downright obnoxious. I spoke to the new pharmacist that works there who proceeded to suggest my prescription could be fake as it is not a from a UK clinic. She then told me very loudly that this was a “moral, ethical and legal issue” and she would not prescribe me the medication I need. It was absurd. I left vowing never to use them again. Such a shame, as I have nothing but praise for Lion Health surgery and GP’s. The reception staff and admin staff are fantastic, always lovely to talk to and so helpful. Murray’s pharmacy however really lets the practice down. Avoid if you can.

Picked up some medication and a simple conversation about payment led to a particularly sarcastic and irritable response from the woman serving. I don't know why people work in public facing roles if they hate interacting with people so much. Absolute unprovoked rudeness.

I am a health care worker and came here to collect a prescription for a client as it was out of stock earlier in the week. I first rang and the most sarcastic unprofessional person answered and when the phone call ended before the line cut off I could hear them start to have a moan about me. Very unprofessional! When I arrived Staff repeatedly questioned if it was in the bag with the other medications as it showed on their system it had been issued (but it really hadn’t) I explained several times we did not have this medication and were asked to come and collect it. Staff kept going on and accusing me of lying about not having this medication. The pharmacist then came out and told me there was no record of this medication missing earlier in the week and made a big deal about having to issue the medication for a second time even though this was the first time we’d actually been given this medication! They then asked what the exemption is and I showed the medical exemption card and I explained I’d never had to tick the back of a prescription slip so was unsure and they snapped at me in-front of the queue of people behind me saying ‘just so you know it’s F you have to tick otherwise you’ll get a fine’ they then turned around and said ‘if the medication decides to suddenly appear in your house please let us know’ still insisting that we already had the medication and we hadn’t! Overall the worst experience at a pharmacy I’ve ever had. Blaming anyone but theirselves for mistakes they have clearly made. Enjoy making a scene infront of other customers and enjoy belittling you infront of others to gain some sort of strange satisfaction. Really need to go on a customer service course!

The pharmacy staff are ignorant, The telephone manner should be addressed, as I was spoken to very sharp and obnoxious by someone in the 60s? As I couldn't hear clearly what she was requesting from me. A matron attitude, would change surgery if I could! The pharmacy staff need a lesson at charm school...
