Review titled Covid Vacination
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Clive Bennett - Posted on 09 November 2024
I was invited for a Covid booster jab. Had my appointment email for today 09/11/24 at 12.55. Took half day off work. Arrived and was told I was not eligible even though I had been invited and clearly had an appointment. He was rude and dismissive. He had my name and appointment on his list but refused to give me the jab because I couldn’t find my invitation, even though I had an appointment email and a second one reminding me of the appointment. What a waste of time. That jab will now go in the bin as he wouldn’t give it to me but clearly must have had one for me as I was on his list. Rude rude rude.

Review titled Extremely rude staff member
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I visited this pharmacy today for my Covid vaccination, I was shown into a room with the staff member. They were on their mobile phone and didn't even have the courtesy to acknowledge my presence. When they eventually put their phone down in a very matter of fact way asked me a few questions gave me my vaccine and they picked up their phone again. This was extremely rude and I told them so but they didn't even acknowledge that!

Review titled Uncommunicative
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I went to this pharmacy earlier this afternoon for my Covid booster. The vaccinator did the jab competently, but had no 'bedside manner': no reassuring feedback to confirm that they had found my appointment on the system, or taken on board what I had said about my allergies; and then simply said "left or right?" They were too quietly spoken and almost monosyllabic, so I had to keep saying pardon, and they didn't smile. That personal warmth makes such a difference to one's experience.
