  1. Review titled Not Disabled Friendly

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Ann - Posted on 16 September 2024

My daughter & I went there today. I was in a wheelchair chair. The disabled door function isn’t working and hasn’t done for some time, so my daughter struggled backwards to get in through the double doors and one of them slammed back on her hands and hurt it. Anyone who is disabled will not be able to use this chemist!

  2. Review titled Female Pharmacist Extremely Rude

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 November 2024

I need to put it out there that the older female pharmacist that was working today 7/11 was extremely rude, unkind and frankly so unpleasant that it actually made me very upset I asked to speak to the pharmacist and after she came out she was so unfriendly with a look like she did not even want to help absolutely no care or manners she did not even want to go into the consultant room or close the door making me say my issue out loud so everyone could here she actually made me so upset when all I wanted was some advice I do not understand why she was so incredibly cold and rude

  3. Review titled Pharmacist wouldn't even speak to me

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Joanna Brett - Posted on 28 February 2024

I came here a few days ago after chocking on food, and experiencing shortness of breath. I was worried as I was catching a flight in 4 hours. I chose this pharmacist as it wasn't a private one attached to a supermarket and thought I'd receive more person service. I could not have been more wrong. I explained my issue to a lovely lady on the check out who then went to speak to the pharmacist. I could see the interaction. The pharmacist did not look at the lady, and she did not look at me. It was a very short exchange. The lady came back to me and said the pharmacist advised I went to minor injuries. I explained I was catching a flight and simply wanted to know if it was safe. The poor lady was in an uncomfortable position of saying, that's the advice the pharmacist has give. I have never felt more fobbed off and un valued in a medical position. All the pharmacist needed to do was come and speak to me, but I clearly wasn't someone she was slightly interested in, the medication she was dispensing was more interesting. She put the receptionist in a completely unfair position, and I left feeling I needed a second opinion, as she could not possibly know my situation without even glancing at me once. As I had a flight I didn't want to risk going to minor injuries to be told I was ok and then missed my flight. So I went to another pharmacist locally that's attached to a supermarket. It could not have been a more different experience. That pharmacist took time to speak to me, understand my concern, and reassure me. He was so calm and explained why I had this shortness of breath (panic and adrenalin basically) and told me to take some throat lozenges and honey to try and move the food down my food pipe (his explanation was more technical than my summary!) I caught my flight and was absolutely fine. If I had followed her advice I would have missed my flight for no reason. All she needed to do was walk over to me and spend a couple of minutes talking to me to realise my breathing was fine, I was simply in shock, and could catch the plane. The other service wasn't NHS and it's So sad the better provider was a private organisation. I will never visit this pharmacist again, as there are better options very close by. I'm actually grateful I left feeling so un-listened to. If she had spent a minute with me and then told me to go to minor injuries simply to cover her back as it was easier rather than assessing the patient in front of her, then I would have gave and unnecessarily missed my flight. I could not be more disappointed with my experience here

  4. Review titled Efficient Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Hilary Cottrell - Posted on 11 January 2024

Kind and polite staff in a calm environment to walk into. Efficient service with a smile. Every month I order my prescription online with my GP Surgery and within a short few days it's ready to be collected, every single time.
