Today I went into Oxford Road pharmacy to pick up a prescription. After being told to wait 1 minute for the pharmacist to sign off the drug for my 3 year old daughter, waited for much longer. Customers came in after me and left before me and within that time I was asked twice by other members of staff if I’d been served. After the final time of being asked (by the pharmacist) I replied that I had been waiting a while. He struggled his shoulders and said I would need to wait. I responded by asking him to release the prescription as I would go elsewhere. He said that would be fine but threatened that this was the only place in Reading that had this drug. So immediately I felt obliged that I had to continue the manipulative service that I was receiving from him and continue to wait to collect the medicine. He was smug about me waiting for the medicine and while he was signing off the drug, I could hear him telling of his staff member who told me to wait 1 minute. Poor service for customers and even worse treatment of his staff.
