After leaving it 10days from submitting a prescription from the doctors and 7 days after requesting a repeat prescription, I called in to collect the 2 items. Not only did I have to wait 25mins i was then told 1 of the prescriptions wasn't ready and the other out of stock. While my prescription weren't life saving they are important to my health and I was told to go and try other chemists in the area, even though they were getting stock the next day. Due to working the same hours of their opening hours i cannot be going the chemist waiting up 30minutes at a time to be told things aren't ready even though they were submitted nearly 2 weeks in advance. I fully understand the top chemist closing has put extreme pressure on the staff who look incredibly overwhelmed and over worked and I understand it isn't their fault but i will now have been unmedicated for nearly 3 weeks. Something needs to change to make this a better experience for all the residents of chapel.

Despite ordering a week earlier for my repeat prescription, I was told that two of my items were unavailable and because it was a bank holiday they wouldn’t be there for another 4 days, I was then handed back my prescription & told to try somewhere else, this being a Friday afternoon at 3pm, I was then faced with a 10 mile round trip trip to obtain my medication. Whilst waiting for 15 minutes to be told this, I heard at least 3 other people being told that they were waiting for their medication to arrive or that their prescription wasn’t ready. This Pharmacy is totally overwhelmed and can not cope with the volume of patient requests, the community of Chapel en le Frith feared that this would happen once the the High Street Pharmacy was forced to close. Something has to be done. I would appreciate a reply Thank you
