My son tried to pick up vital antibiotics I attended A and E 9th July was given a script early hours of 10th needed these antibiotics after been given them by injection I the prescribing docter for got to date script 3.00 am in the morning my son has had to return to DRI to get a date on script before I can have urgently needed antibiotics shame on you

I have been using Pickford practice at Dunsville since I moved into the area last year. I have monthly prescriptions to collect and always find the staff very competent. On needing new painkillers I was given enough medication for over the weekend on Friday due to a shortage there This morning I was able to collect the rest of the prescribed medication with no problem.

I asked to speak to the pharmacists reference sinus issues, he took me to a private room and spoke to me for 15 minutes, after prescribing a antibiotic my problem cleared up shortly after. The Balby branch has always got our prescriptions on time and are there to assist if you have a problem. Very good service and would recommend.

Pickfords on Sandford Road, Balby, Doncaster. Prescriptions never ready regardless of how long theyve had them. They never have all the items, so you have to return another day. They refuse to contact you to let you know when those delayed items are in stock (a quick text would be sufficient). They never seem to answer the phone so you have to keep going back to find out if the stock is in yet. Understaffed. Leave you at the counter for long periods of time whilst they go and get a pre-ordered prescription from the back and then pretend they were looking for it instead of advising you it wasn't ready. Overall it is terrible service.

I attended a scheduled appointment for my Covid-19 vaccination booster. If like myself you’re not a fan of needles please do attend this chemist and get it done here. The pharmacist chatted to me beforehand which helped me to relax and if I hadn’t of seen him perform the injection I wouldn’t have known he’d had done it as I felt nothing. Soon after a vaccination my arm starts to throb but it’s a few hours later and I still feel nothing. Thank you so much for the wonderful technique. I will always be scheduling any further vaccinations at this chemist from now on.
