I and my family have been using this pharmacy for about six years and have always found the pharmacist and staff to be really helpful and friendly. This month I was prescribed a new medication and the pharmacist unexpectedly phoned me after a few days to check if I was getting on ok with it. Very, very impressed!!

I went in on Saturday 25/11 and booked a flu jab for Monday morning, I explained that I needed to have the flu jab at 9 am as I had to go to work and this was all agreed, I was privately paying for the flu-jab. I went in on Monday morning at 9 o’clock. The pharmacy was not open. I then got a phone call saying that the pharmacist was stuck in traffic and would not be able to make the appointment and I was told to go again the following day at 9 am. This I did, I arrived at 9 am. The pharmacy was closed even though its opening hours are 9 am and at 9.07 having heard nothing at all and having been standing outside the pharmacy, I called the pharmacy phone number. I was then told that the pharmacist was stuck in traffic again and would not make my second appointment and, they couldn’t open the pharmacy unless the pharmacist was present. I decided to cut my losses and I went to a pharmacist in Havant who charged me £12.50 for the flu jab, Purbrook pharmacy wanted to charge me £19.99 for the same flu jab but couldn’t even be bothered to have the pharmacist arrive on time in two occasions. This is extremely poor service and I will not be using this pharmacy again or recommending it to anyone I know.

Both myself and Husband get our repeat prescriptions here and any covid / flu jabs Staff are really lovely, always have a smile and helpful. When I picked my prescription up a couple of months back they asked if I had my blood pressure taken recently which I hadn't, although fine it was easy and re assuring. I have been several times to this chemist now and come across various staff and can honestly say all super nice. Now planning on getting my sister in law transferred to this chemist as will feel re assured that she will be taken good care of. Credit to all the staff working here clearly a great team.

Great Pharmacy. Always so patient and willing to help. I have my prescriptions delivered and not once have I been forgotten or has there been a problem. The staff at the end of the telephone were so friendly and helpful. Would recommend this Pharmacy every time.
