  1. Review titled Overall, not a bad experience.

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Jacqueline Matthew - Posted on 12 July 2024

The staff were pleasant , but I was sent by the doctor to the pharmacy with a suspected bladder infection. I was told to take a urine sample with me.I got there and filled in a short form with details of my symptoms. I had to use my own container for the sample as the doctor sent me there, so I didn't have chance to collect one. After filling the form ,the chemist looked at it...said there was no need to check the sample, and gave me a 3 day supply of antibiotics. I am making another appointment at the doctors as i am my still feeling unwell.

  2. Review titled Saved a trip to A&E

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Whilst visiting Prestatyn, I realised I had misplaced my Asthma inhaler. As I was suffering shortness of breath, I asked the pharmacist in Rowlands if they could help. An emergency issue of my inhaler was issued after contacting my GP's surgery therefore saving me a lengthy trip to A&E which without the inhaler, I would have definitely needed. I was able to resume my visit to the town within ten minutes. Very impressive indeed. Many thanks to all the staff there who helped me and were kind and considerate.

  3. Review titled Much improved!! Very impressed

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have been using Rowlands pharmacy for some years. I have had quite a few bad experiences over that time including long waiting times for simple prescriptions, prescriptions coming to me that were incorrect, prescriptions even being lost by the pharmacist. However, the new pharmacist that has been there for around three months has absolutely changed this shop and turned it around. My medicine is ready upon even walking through the door so by the time I get to the counter it is handed to me. She is very polite. She has turned the whole shop around. I would’ve given it one star this time last year, and five stars today. I told her I am really impressed with the service and I wanted to leave a good review. The staff seem so much happier and there is a lot more regulation to the branch. Well done Rowlands Redditch.

  4. Review titled Dreadful Service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Arrived at the Mayfield branch today to pick up a prescription. Couldn't get in at first because the doors are broken. Strange note on the door saying something about 'only issuing antibiotics today' which I did not understand. Six people in the queue in front of me, no-one got a prescription. I was told to come back at 2.30pm, they received my script last Friday. It was Wednesday at 11.30. Notes everywhere to say they don't tolerate shouting/bullying etc...quite agree however, if you don't want people to shout at you provide the service expected and, if you can't, at least apologise for it rather than looking blankly at your customers and offering absolutely nothing. I would give it `zero' stars if I could. This is not a one off incident for me.
