I went into the Chemist today 1/10/2024 to collect some free covid tests as I qualify for them, I also had proof ready at hand to show that I am eligible, to be told be two different staff that you can no longer get free covid tests. When I questioned this and told the members of staff that I had got some free ones a few months ago, I was told that things! change month by month and that they have stopped doing free covid tests, you cant get free covid tests anymore. This is not the case as I found out by going into another Chemist and getting the free covid tests, as you can still get free tests provided you have prove you are eligible. The staff including the Pharmacist should know this. If the Chemist is not or no longer on the NHS list that provide this service then please explain this to the customers, false information should not be given out.
